Hey there, I’m Tia, and the sweet girl with me in the picture is my amazing dog Lilly. She definitely struggles with respecting boundaries.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and owner of a holistic private practice in Texas. I work with a lot of amazing people who struggle with anxiety, overwhelm, and feeling like they’ve lost themselves trying to keep everyone else happy.
Sound familiar? You’re definitely not alone, and that’s actually what inspired me to start helping as many as I can learn more about boundaries.
Over the years, I’ve noticed that no matter what people are going through, it almost always circles back to one thing: boundaries. When our boundaries are too loose (or too rigid), life gets messy. I know that from personal experience too. There was a time when my lack of boundaries left me drained, resentful, and questioning what “balance” even meant.
That’s why I created Balancing Boundaries, to give you the tools, insights, and encouragement I wish I had when I was learning to protect my peace and reconnect with myself.
